We all work together to bridge the gap between producer and consumer. We specialize in Strategic Planning, Creative Services, Public Relations, Media Planning, Marketing Science, Content Creation and Research.
Our clients all share a central focus in agriculture and food but range from multi-national corporations to start-ups in seed, crop protection and fertility, agtech, animal health, equipment and more. • Work with an integrated team of marketing professionals to achieve client communication objectives.
• Monitor key industry issues and develop, manage and measure PR programs/campaigns that support the continued growth of the account.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry media.
• Participate and provide ideas and support to other AdFarm divisions
• Participate in Industry events & cultivate relationships with the community and consumers
• Research trends and help develop campaigns
• Effectively communicate the organizations message and products
• Bring energy, determination, and drive to AdFarm\xe2\x80\x99s media relations to produce strong result-oriented initiatives.
• Adheres to AdFarm Values in all professional activities.
• Other ad-hoc and special projects as requested

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, focus in communications, marketing, journalism or similar
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or communications and PR certifications (e.g., APR) an asset
• Exceptional writing ability including technical, feature, promotional and social media copy
• Excellent skill and instinct for media relations, with knowledge of and existing relationships in Canadian agriculture media an asset
• Time management and organization
• Agriculture knowledge a very strong asset
• Writing and editing in CP Style
• Working knowledge of Meltwater and/or Sprout Social
• Proficient across all major social media channels (organic and paid)
• Team player and a critical thinker
