ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Responsible for the operation and performance of all pressure systems, including refrigeration systems, answering to the Department of Labour according to the Power Engineers Act.

• Operates and repairs the mechanical systems, compressors, HVAC, pneumatic controls, water systems and plumbing systems.

• Assists in the upkeep and cleanup of all mechanical utility areas as well as the mechanical shop.

• Ensure that preventative maintenance program is followed and up to date.

• Assists in overseeing work performed by outside contractors.

• Assists in the validation of equipment, systems and facility to meet cGMP requirements. This includes the updates, review and filing of Engineering documentation.

• Develops SOPS, AND STMs for process/production equipment.

• Understands and follows cGMP requirements as they relate to equipment, processes, material and validation.

What do you bring to the job

• Third Class Power Engineer Certificate

• Or holding a 4th class and pursueing 3rd class power engineer credentail

• Minimum 2-years of related experience

• Has good organizational skills
