This role will be suited to a project professional who is passionate about optimizing project delivery, managing enterprise tools, and supporting teams throughout the project lifecycle.In this newly-created position, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of E-Comm\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Project Management Office, acting as the owner and operator of key PMO services. You will be responsible for championing innovation by continuously improving the PMO resource library, tools, and processes, as well as monitoring and reporting on the enterprise project portfolio. The PMO Specialist also guides employees in selecting and using appropriate project management tools for their projects and providing tactical support to project managers.In addition, this role will also provide the opportunity to enhance your project management skills, as you will have the opportunity to act as a Project Manager for small-scale enterprise projects.What You\'ll Do:

  • Support Strategic Functions: Support senior leaders in developing our annual strategic plan, including project prioritization and roadmap development, and the Enterprise Risk Management function
  • Own the PMO Services: Be the go-to expert for PMO tools, templates, and processes, ensuring smooth project delivery across the enterprise. E.g., Knowledge of our Project Lifecycle Handbook, and best use of our schedule, risk, issue, templates
  • Steer Projects to Success: Guide projects through the lifecycle from initiation to completion, coaching project managers on available resources and how to use them
  • Standard Solution Development: Manage a backlog of project delivery needs and lead new solution and process development E.g., Vendor/Product Evaluation Tool, Change Management Process, etc
  • Manage Key Tools: Oversee and administer Smartsheet, our enterprise project & portfolio management solution; lead regular reporting on portfolio health and fulfill ad hoc data requests. Maintain our project roadmap, support users, and troubleshoot issues
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Enhance and mature our project delivery capabilities by improving standard tools, templates, and project workspaces
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure seamless alignment on goals, timelines, and resources, and develop and facilitate training on new PMO capabilities and tools
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or PMO roles
  • Strong proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Office Suite, and SharePoint
  • A solid understanding of Agile, waterfall, and other methodologies
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under pressure
  • Experience with technology implementations, process redesign, or vendor product selection
  • Experience developing and delivering point-of-need training solutions would be advantageous
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is 5 years.To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
