Roechling Industrial is an industrial plastics manufacturer located in Orangeville ON.

We are seeking several skilled CNC/Plastics Butt Fusion Welding Operators to join our manufacturing team. This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality components through precise machining processes while maintaining safety standards across all operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating various CNC machinery, including plastic butt fusion welding machines. This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality precision parts. The Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, tear downs, change overs and maintaining equipment while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities

Set up, change over, and operate CNC machinery and butt fusion plastics welder machines according to specifications. Program machines using CNC programming languages and controls to produce precise components. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing processes. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting and minor adjustments on equipment to minimize downtime. Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring instruments for quality control inspections. Adjust machine settings based on measurement feedback to maintain tolerances. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for material handling. Completes production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required. Maintains a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards. Assists in assembly or packaging of finished products as required. Follow safety protocols related to plastics welding, machining, and equipment operation.

Experience

Proven experience operating CNC machinery, plastics welding machines in a manufacturing environment. Possesses ability to efficiently set-up, change over, and operate all equipment within the department. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings. Experience with blueprint reading, mechanical measurements (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and quality control procedures. Ability to operate hand tools, plastics welding equipment, and basic math skills necessary for machining tasks. Experience with forklift operation is a plus. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Prior experience in manufacturing or machining industries demonstrating attention to detail and safety awareness is required. Ability to work in a physically demanding role & environment - pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, standing on a concrete floor Requires high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.19-$26.86 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
