Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLASTICS Extrusion Sheet Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion machines, ensuring proper setup and operation throughout the production process. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Conduct quality inspections on finished products using calipers and other measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical issues. Fabricate components as needed to support production processes. Utilize logic controllers for machine operation and adjustments. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse environment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating CNC machinery preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production processes. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools is essential. Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus, particularly with material handling equipment such as forklifts. Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities are required for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
