Napanee's plant is looking for an extrusion line operator to join the team !!

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor your task will be to :


Understand and implement all measures as per health and safety policy and Environment Protection Programs

Participate in OEE Data collection

Extrusion set up and start up (all profiles)

Monitor and maintain extrusion process to produce products within specs

Assist supervisor in monitoring production floor

Ensure that all product profiles meet all quality standards as per product accept criteria

Report to extrusion shift supervisor about non-conformance in process and products

Conduct immediate actions and corrective actions to any product non-conformance and process deviation

Document all scraps/rejects through the shift

Ensure and validate all materials are as per Bill of Material and Work Order

Ensure that all labels are printed correctly with all essential information for traceability.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent




Salary: From $22.09 to $22,57 per hour



IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?




High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred

Mathematical and measuring skills

1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Rotating shift schedule ( 12 hours / 7 - 7)

Opportunity for overtime when available.

The ability to read and understand work orders and product specifications

Ability to see defects at close range

Control Precision - The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions to achieve specifications.

Finger Dexterity - The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.

Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Reaction Time - The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.

Ability to work in a respectful way in a collaborative environment.

Ability to work as a team to meet goals/KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
