Plant Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON

We are starting a major project in the city of Toronto, ON, Canada. We are looking for the best candidates to join our team and support the project delivery.

Project overview:

\xe2\x80\x94 The Ontario Line is a 15.6 km stand-alone rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre to Exhibition / Ontario Place.
\xe2\x80\x94 The OLS project, is one of the three P3 contracts to deliver the Ontario Line, it is a design-build and finance contract for the 6 km southern portion of the Ontario Line, from Exhibition / Ontario Place to the Don Yard portal (west of Don River)
\xe2\x80\x94 The scope of the Project includes the design, construction, and handover of all tunnels (twin tube of 6 km each), 7 stations (turnkey for 1 station at grade and 6 underground stations) and civil works

Position\'s Main Objectives: To support the Production Manager in all matters regarding Plant activities.

Reporting to: Project Manager

Principal Accountability & Responsibility:

Coordinate job site for the material needs.
Responsible of the inspection of equipment according to maintenance procedure and the preliminary testing of the operators and equipment of subcontractors.
Improve the safety awareness of the manpower through task briefs and trainings.
Monitor and organize the dewatering activities.
Budgetary studies and follow up.
Improve the downfall of environmental impact of Plant department activities.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: min. 3 years experience
