• 
  Support a wide range of initiatives in Planning & Development Services such as GIS analysis to support the City Building Program.
• 
  Research and use best practices around online GIS mapping including exploration of ArcHub and ArcUrban, and GIS analysis to support growth strategies including dashboarding and web mapping.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Enrolled in a second-year diploma or degree program in GIS, Geography or a related program.
• 
  Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• 
  Experience in GIS is required.
• 
  Experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ESRI Technologies, Sketchup or 3D modelling software would be an asset.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 
  Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2023.
• 
  If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
