DO YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE WORLD LEADER IN MARINE PRODUCTS BY BEING AT THE HEART OF THE DECISIONS? Pelican International is looking for its next demand planning analyst to join his team. You are needed to support the execution of the demand planning process and ensure timelines are met. Analyze supply in terms of available inventory and planned production vs planned demand. You will be in charge of reviewing and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the data entered into the system. Thinking of improvement, you will have to keep the demand forecasting tools up to date and ensure their operation as well as identify areas for improvement. YOUR DAY IN THIS POSITION:

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to adjust the demand planning as needed;
  • Establish initial annul forecasts based on historical sales data; collect, compile, analyze and update all the necessary information that will allow finalizing the annual demand planning ;
  • Build, analyze and communicate performance indicators in addition to identifying the causes of errors in order to improve the accuracy of the forecast;
  • Identify trends by SKU/products family by customer and geographic region ;
  • Implement demand management processes and participate in the development of various improvement tools;
  • Measure the performance of demand planning in order to contribute to the achievement of inventory position, service level and rotation objectives.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: You have significant experience in a similar position combined with a bachelor’s degree in administration, operations management or another related field. You have a remarkable ease in analyzing and communicating data. You are familiar with the lean manufacturing process as well as the technical processes and production management tools. You stand out for your excellent analytical skills, your sense of detail, your rigor and autonomy. In addition, you have excellent organizational skills and a good sense of priorities.
