Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new pizza offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary. Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen.

Requirements

Proven experience in the culinary field, particularly within the pizza or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable. Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is a plus. Excellent knife skills and understanding of food safety practices are essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for fine dining experiences and delivering exceptional food service.
