Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations. Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and safety standards. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure quality control of all menu items. Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests or dietary restrictions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment preferred, especially in the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent cooking skills with a focus on pizza preparation and meal presentation. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
