Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving. Participate in catering events as required, showcasing culinary skills in various settings.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or fine dining environments. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling practices. Experience in menu planning and meal preparation is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietary aide experience is a plus. Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed guest expectations.
