We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team of pharmacy staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of retail pharmacy management, and the ability to coordinate various functions including inventory, sales, and staff development. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies
Manage inventory purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and stock levels to optimize sales and minimize waste
Handle administrative tasks related to store management
Utilize KROLL POS systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and reporting
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote pharmacy services and products
Ensure exceptional customer service through effective communication skills and phone etiquette
Coordinate with healthcare providers and suppliers for medication procurement and special orders
Monitor sales performance and develop strategies for achieving sales targets
Conduct regular team meetings to promote training & development initiatives and improve overall store performance
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail management, preferably within a pharmacy or healthcare setting
Strong leadership abilities with supervising experience in a retail environment
Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management tools
Ability to handle negotiations with vendors and suppliers
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Competency in math for inventory calculations and financial reporting
Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
