Key Responsibilities



Coordinate patient care from prescription initiation to therapy completion, ensuring timely access to medications and continuity of care. Facilitate prior authorizations, special access requests, and coverage approvals with insurance providers and third-party payors. Act as a primary point of contact for patients, clinics, and prescribers--providing education, support, and regular follow-up throughout treatment. Monitor patient progress, identify adherence barriers, and proactively address clinical or logistical challenges. Report Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Quality Complaints (PQCs) Support treatment adherence and case persistence to improve long-term outcomes Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure accurate documentation. Support reimbursement activities and ensure claims are processed efficiently and accurately. Maintain detailed case notes and uphold strict patient confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements



Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy, patient support, or healthcare case management (community or specialty pharmacy experience preferred). Certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant training program or equivalent healthcare background. Strong understanding of drug coverage, prior authorization processes, and reimbursement pathways. Proficiency in Kroll Pharmacy Software, Microsoft Office, and related healthcare databases. Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills--able to build rapport with patients and clinical partners. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple patient cases simultaneously. Demonstrated commitment to patient privacy and professional ethics. Self-directed, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Clinical knowledge across chronic and specialty conditions is an asset. Internationally trained doctors, pharmacists, and medical professionals are encouraged to apply.
