to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy and ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
:
Regulatory Compliance
: Ensure all activities comply with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) guidelines, the Regulated Health Professions Act, and all applicable legislation.
Pharmacy Operations
: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, counseling, inventory management, and ensuring patient safety.
Supervision & Leadership
: Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance
: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and protocols to ensure the accuracy and safety of prescriptions, including managing adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
Clinical Oversight
: Ensure appropriate pharmaceutical care and interventions, reviewing patient medications and providing drug information, counseling, and recommendations to improve patient outcomes.
Inventory Control
: Oversee ordering, receiving, and managing pharmaceutical stock to ensure proper inventory levels, and manage expired or recalled drugs in accordance with regulatory standards.
Patient Care
: Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing expert advice and support regarding medications, treatments, and health conditions.
Collaboration
: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring patients' needs are met across the continuum of care.
Reporting & Documentation
: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with pharmacy standards, patient privacy laws, and regulatory bodies.
Emergency Preparedness
: Ensure the pharmacy is prepared for emergencies, including addressing any drug shortages, recalls, or other unexpected issues promptly.
Qualifications
:
Licensed Pharmacist
in Ontario with current registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Minimum 1 year
of pharmacy experience
Strong knowledge of OCP regulations, drug safety standards, and pharmacy practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual in
English

Farsi
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
