We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Pest Control Technician

to join our team. The ideal candidate will a pesticide applicator's licence and have experience working with tools and equipment, along with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This role is essential in ensuring safe, effective pest management for our clients while promoting our services in a professional manner.

Duties

Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity and potential risks. Apply pesticides, baits, and other treatments in accordance with company protocols and government regulations. Utilize hand tools and power sprayers to perform treatments safely and efficiently. Provide clients with recommendations for pest prevention and promote additional services where appropriate. Maintain accurate service records, including chemicals used, treatments performed, and follow-up requirements. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations while on-site.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pest Control Technician or in a related service trade is an asset (training provided for the right candidate). Comfortable working with hand tools, power sprayers, and pest control equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify pest activity and recommend solutions. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Commitment to safety practices, attention to detail, and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
