As a Pest Control Technician , you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing targeted pest control solutions. Your role will involve a mix of residential and commercial pest control services. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the effective removal and prevention of pest infestations while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
Develop customized pest control plans based on the type of infestation, property size, and client preferences.
Safely apply pest control treatments, including the use of pesticides, baits, traps, and other control methods.
Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide recommendations for long-term pest management.
Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and invoices.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and meet client expectations.
Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pest control is a plus.
Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
