We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Maintain merchandising standards to ensure products are displayed attractively. Assist with stocking shelves and organizing inventory to ensure product availability. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout areas. Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing, discounts, and sales calculations.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in cashiering and handling cash transactions securely. Familiarity with retail math concepts for pricing and inventory management. Ability to perform merchandising tasks to enhance product visibility. Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone calls. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Previous supervising experience is beneficial for leading team efforts effectively.
