As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an inviting shopping experience, driving sales through effective communication, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves effectively. Supervise junior staff members when needed, providing guidance and support. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock replenishment. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store environment.

Skills

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence. Proficiency in cashiering and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and product stocking procedures. Previous supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities. Excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries via phone.
