As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while effectively promoting our products and ensuring an engaging shopping experience. You will play a key role in maintaining store standards and supporting the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and addressing concerns promptly. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and promote sales. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately. Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks. Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately. Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with customers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with customers and team members. Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting. A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing the customer shopping experience.
