As a Culture & Purpose Employee Engagement Manager, you will work closely with the Listening & Community Senior Manager to bring employee engagement to life within our businesses, geographies, and with our Business Resource Groups. This includes:
  • Manage the ConnecteD network of employee engagement groups, including those for local geographies, individual businesses, and business resource groups; lead action planning, knowledge sharing, communications and stakeholder management, operations and reporting, and success measurement for all groups.
  • Work with colleagues to action listening feedback and advise the business on ongoing recommendations for supporting a stellar employee experience; work with your Senior Manager to influence senior leaders and drive action within their teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge across all culture initiatives and collaborate effectively to align programs from well-being, societal impact, and shared experiences with community-building efforts; inspire and leverage the diverse, dispersed ConnecteD network to champion efforts.
  • Manage project plans and prepare program activation and communication deliverables, including presentations, talking points, and other materials using appropriate messaging and style; adhere to brand requirements and reflect the needs of various internal audiences.
  • Support the local delivery of key events and serve as geographic representative to embed and promote programs locally, including volunteering efforts, in collaboration with local and business-based volunteer councils, member firm counterparts, and non-profit organizations.
  • Lead at least 1 direct report in overseeing the operations, reporting, and success measurement for employee engagement groups.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resources, Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Sustainability or Corporate Responsibility
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Experience building, leading, or participating in employee engagement or business resource groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders and contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior executives across Deloitte Global, Deloitte member firms, and external organizations.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality, error-free output.
  • Ability to flexibly manage workload to deliver multiple projects in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Great teaming skills and ability to confidently work autonomously.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek guidance during complexity.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Employee Engagement, Employee Experience, or a related field.
