What will your typical day look like?

As a Culture & Purpose Activation Manager, you will work closely with the Strategy & Operations COE leader to create compelling communications and engagement campaigns, plan large-scale, Global-wide events, and launch initiatives to colleagues across the globe. Responsibilities may include:
  • Work with stakeholders to craft communication plans and create key communications deliverables that inspire involvement and drive high participation, including presentations, talking points, intranet stories, and other materials.
  • Determine appropriate messaging, style, and context for communications deliverables that support the overall communications strategy; work creatively within Deloitte templates; adhere to the Deloitte brand standards; and reflect the needs of our various internal audiences.
  • Maintain a running editorial calendar and partner with communications team to provide high-quality, engaging content for our global news platform.
  • Measure the success of engagement campaigns and innovate for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain working knowledge across all culture initiatives and collaborate effectively across Culture & Purpose and the larger People team to craft and time campaigns in a way that creates a holistic, positive, inspirational employee experience.
  • Support planning and coordination of large Global-wide events hosted by Culture & Purpose team, such as Impact Awards, through project team activation, timeline management, and communications.
  • Assist in developing and rolling out strategic plans for network initiatives requiring Global participation.
  • Support the local delivery of key events and serve as geographic representative to embed and promote programs locally, including volunteering efforts, in collaboration with local and business-based volunteer councils, member firm counterparts, and non-profit organizations.

Enough about us, let's talk about you
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Sustainability or Corporate Responsibility
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to employee engagement, employee experience, well-being, societal impact, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders and contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior executives across Deloitte, and external organizations.
  • Creative storytelling and ability to motivate action and inspire colleagues through communications.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality, error-free output.
  • Ability to flexibly manage workload to deliver multiple projects in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Great teaming skills and ability to confidently work autonomously.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek guidance during complexity.
