Position Overview
We are hiring a People & Culture Coordinator to support the Co-op's HR functions. You will contribute to key HR processes including recruitment, employee documentation, benefit tracking, safety program coordination, and compliance support.

Key Responsibilities
Post job ads, screen applicants, coordinate interviews and onboarding
Maintain personnel files, training records, and HR metrics
Assist with benefits, pension, immigration, and payroll-related documentation
Support employee relations case documentation and act as third-party in meetings
Coordinate safety meeting schedules, WorkSafeBC tracking, and incident reporting
Support engagement initiatives, process improvements, and policy updates

Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferably holds a valid CPHR designation, or is in the process of obtaining
2-4 years of Canadian HR experience, including in full-cycle recruitment, benefits and employee relations
Familiarity with BC Employment Standards, WorkSafeBC legislation, PIPEDA and confidentiality requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
