is hiring a

People & Culture Coordinator

to support the Co-op's HR functions at our Administrative Office in

Fort St. John, BC.





You will contribute to key HR processes including recruitment, employee documentation, benefit tracking, safety program coordination, and compliance support.

What you'll do:




Key Responsibilities




Post job ads, screen applicants, coordinate interviews and onboarding Maintain personnel files, training records, and HR metrics Assist with benefits, pension, immigration, and payroll-related documentation Support employee relations case documentation and act as third-party in meetings Coordinate safety meeting schedules, Work Safe BC tracking, and incident reporting Support engagement initiatives, process improvements, and policy updates

Who are you:




Qualifications




Diploma or degree in Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferably holds a valid CPHR designation, or is in the process of obtaining 2-4 years of Canadian HR experience, including in full-cycle recruitment, benefits and employee relations Familiarity with BC Employment Standards, Work Safe BC legislation, PIPEDA and confidentiality requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
