Job Title PCS Transaction Management Analyst



What is the opportunity?

This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team on one of our top-tier account. Join our international team for a great opportunity to work on transaction management processes from beginning to end with focus on private equity and real estate funds. The Transaction management Analyst is a client facing role within Private Capital Services and will be responsible for administration of Luxembourg funds and the processing and oversight of transactions supported by accurate and complete documentation. These transactions are processed as per the cut off agreed with RBC IS clients. The role also requires helping to ensure the duties (including Legal duties) of a custodian, a depositary (safekeeping/safekeeping/ownership verification) and a Banker are applied and respected, and that our services are aligned with group decisions and global operating models.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for Structured Funds, Real Estate, Private Equity, Funds of Funds transaction management.
  • Ensure investment transactions are processed properly, in due time and in accordance with internal processes
  • Ensure investment transactions are supported by accurate and complete documentation.
  • Ensure that all duties (including Legal duties) of a Custodian, a Depositary (safekeeping/ownership verification) and/or a Banker are applied and respected, in accordance with Luxembourg Laws and regulations applicable
  • Carryout the delegated tasks by the manager and support the team members in delivering the service
  • Complete investment trackers, maintain asset inventory and escalate any ownership verification guideline breach in timely and accurate manner
  • Participate in regular calls with the client to discuss ongoing issues with the deals and follow-up actions
  • Work with fund accounting team to insure consistency of portfolio records with Transaction Management
  • Anticipate potential risk and impact on transaction management, escalate issues and contribute to resolution of issues/queries
  • Assist in coordinating the fund audits with statutory auditors
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • University degree
  • 1-2 years of work experience in Transaction management, audit or Funds Audit/Oversight with a focus on financial services and fund structures
  • Experienced in meeting the deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience in communication with various internally and externally stakeholders
  • Knowledge of business strategy and priorities as well as excellent understanding of bank business operations and processes and quality execution experience
Nice to have
  • Good knowledge and/or experience in private equity or real estate funds
  • CPA qualification or equivalent
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or Finance
