Are you a data management professional eager to continue your career specialization in data quality management? STEMCELL is looking for a Data Quality Management Analyst to join our newly-formed Corporate Data Management & Governance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest biotechnology company and help establish the data quality framework enabling our continued success!

In this role, you will support the management of data quality solutions, delivering structure, consistency and quality of data consumed by STEMCELL\xe2\x80\x99s business units. As a valued member of this team, you will collaborate with data owners to gather, analyze, and validate data requirements and play a key role in establishing a data quality management process and implementing data quality management software.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Data Owners and stakeholders to gather and define data requirements and business rules
• Develop data quality monitoring jobs, alerts, and reports and execute data quality checks on a regular basis or for data preparation/migration purposes of a project
• Resolve data quality issues using data quality techniques and tools as well as involving business teams to review, resolve issues, and verify the data
• Participate in software implementation projects, data migrations, and data preparation initiatives, contribute to root cause analysis and make recommendations on continuous improvement of data entry procedures, data validation rules, data model, and data integrationRegister and track data quality-related problems in issue logs, and maintain documentation and training materials

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Strong experience with data profiling, data quality and root-cause analysis, and data quality improvement techniques
• Deep understanding of Data Quality Management methodologies and best practices
• Strong experience working with specialized data quality management software
• Experience with data-quality-driven continuous improvement would be an asset
