Job Description

Are you a Payroll Specialist looking to advance your career? Our client is currently hiring for a Sr. Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees. This role is hybrid 3 days a week, conveniently a 5 min walk beside union station in downtown Toronto. In this role you\'ll be processing and auditing semi-monthly payroll., posting adjusting entries for benefit cheques, and reconciling and preparing payments for benefit plans, legislated remittance (worker compensation premiums), donations and garnishments.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and experience with large payroll systems (Ceridian, ADP, UKG, SAP) as well as experience with Excel and working with external stakeholders. Having achieved the PCP certification is required as well.
