Position: Payroll Administrator
Location: Saint-Laurent (Hybrid 2days office/3days remote)
Salary: $75,000 (based on experience)
Benefits: 3 weeks of vacation + 1 week during holidays, RRSP matching, 10 personal days and flexible for more, yearly bonus and more

Our client, a Canadian leader in scientifc research and pharmaceuticals, is looking for a dynamic Payroll Administrator to join their finance team at their Montreal office. In this role, you will be overseeing the payroll functions and work closely with the great minds of the industry. We would love to meet candidates with the following profile:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- University degree in accounting and/or Canadian payroll association certificate
- Experience in multi-provincial payroll processing
- Experience with ADP
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Billingual to communicate with employees in BC and Ontario

Main Responsibilities:

- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions
- Update employee information in company database
- Ensure timely and appropriate remittances and reporting to appropriate levels of government and agencies
- Respond to day-to-day requests from active and former employees as well as various requests from management
- Investigate payroll issues, identify causes and formulate recommendations
- Prepare and assist Senior Accountants with monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, as needed
- Support Finance Controller with quarterly and annual audits and preparation of financial reports
