Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Downtown Montreal (Hybrid 3 days remote / 2 days office)
Salary: $60,000 (client is flexible)Our client, a leading Canadian champion ranked among the top 100 legal corporations nationwide, is in search of a detail-oriented and meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. - At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably a background in accounting or a related field
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized with tasksKey responsibilities:- Review and process, invoices, expense reports, cheques, and electronic payments
- Respond to inquiries from internal clients and external vendors on a timely basis
- Create, maintain and update vendor master data and disbursement rate sets
- Handle stop payments and cheque cancellations
- Research and resolve disbursement and invoice discrepancies and issues
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile vendor accounts
