Our client, a North American champion within the food industry, is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to join their team. Main Requirements:
- DEC in accounting
- Fluently bilingual required for communications outside of Quebec
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
- Reconcile vendor statements and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and employees
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Assist with other finance and accounting tasks as needed
