Kamloops Ram is currently recruiting for an Payroll Administrator / Accounting Clerk to join the team. The position is based in Kamloops, and reports to the Controller. This is a dynamic role with a variety of accounting duties. Working alongside with the accounting team, the duties are divided and shared to ensure a fluid and busy day. Various accounting duties will include \xc2\xb7 Payroll processing and reconciliation \xc2\xb7 Payable and receivables duties \xc2\xb7 Cash reconciliation \xc2\xb7 Managing office supplies \xc2\xb7 Assist in month end closing \xc2\xb7 Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 High School Diploma Preferred Skills: \xc2\xb7 Payroll knowledge is preferred \xc2\xb7 Accounting experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. \xc2\xb7 Basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills \xc2\xb7 Proficient in Excel and Word, PBS experience a plus \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to speak and write English and have an ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Kamloops Ram offers a great compensation package, benefits, and a dynamic working environment.
