Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Sitter to provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. The Patient Sitter will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, particularly those in senior care, hospice care, assisted living, and home care environments. This position requires a nurturing individual who can assist with daily activities while promoting a positive and caring atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. Assist with basic patient care tasks including meal preparation and hygiene assistance. Monitor patient conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare staff. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients by maintaining cleanliness in living areas. Engage patients in activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being. Accompanies the patient for activities, providing social and emotional support, escorts the patient in a wheelchair as required, and performs other related duties as assigned. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, assisted living, or home care is preferred. Experience working in nursing homes or similar environments is beneficial. A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining patient dignity.
