Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Safety Attendant to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients within the hospital setting. Your primary focus will be on providing attentive care and support to patients, helping to create a safe and nurturing environment for recovery.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients closely to ensure their safety and comfort at all times. Monitor vitals, both manual and automatic. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding any changes in patient behavior or condition. Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Document patient observations accurately in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to patient care. Respond promptly to patient calls for assistance, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Requirements

EMR, PCP and/or BLS CPR certifications required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Basic understanding of medical terminology. G class drivers license.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
