North Shore Sports Medicine is seeking an exceptional Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our Brooksbank and Deep Cove clinics are operating smoothly on a daily basis. We are looking for someone with the motivation and growth mindset required to progress into the role of Patient Experience Team Lead and take on some aspects of management.
As a Patient Experience, you will be the patient's guide to healthcare, connecting with them in an outgoing and friendly manner. You will work with team members to ensure a smooth patient experience, including booking appointments, billing insurance, coordinating injury claim coverage, preparing patient rooms, taking calls, and completing administrative tasks for practitioners. Adherence to procedures, checklists, and communication protocols is essential to create consistency and drive best practices between coordinators.
To excel in this role, you must possess at least 1 year of experience working in customer service, and have exemplary customer service delivery. As a natural problem solver, you must have exceptional communication skills, be efficient, resourceful, and adaptable. A passion for helping patients is essential. The ability to exercise sound judgment and juggle priorities are a must, as are superior organizational and coordination skills. As we are a small office, we look to all of our team members to roll up their sleeves and take on whatever tasks are necessary to get the job done right.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, eagerness, and passion for getting things done. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty and responsibility for completing work both quickly and correctly. A faster-than-average work pace is necessary, combined with an expectation for positive results. Follow-up of delegated work must be thorough, and the ability to work as a team is a strong aspect of this position. Change is an ongoing occurrence of this job and will be approached with the support and guidance of management.
This role reports to the Clinic Experience Manager and the Patient Experience Team Leader.
