Innovative Sport Medicine (ISM) is a multidisciplinary clinic providing expertise in effective diagnosis, comprehensive injury management, and return to peak performance. Our clinical staff consists of highly trained Sport Medicine Physicians, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Athletic Therapists and Massage Therapists. ISM Physicians and Therapists provide medical coverage for the Calgary Roughnecks (NLL), Calgary Hitmen (WHL), Calgary FC soccer, Calgary Surge.

We have a spacious clinic with several exam rooms and a dedicated gym and rehab area (including a 3D gait analysis lab). Injury-specific programming (eg, RunIQ) and ultrasound-guided injection therapies are offered at Innovative Sport Medicine. We have a large referral base from physicians and physiotherapists throughout the Calgary area.

We are presently seeking an enthusiastic Full Time Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team.

Our Patient Experience Coordinators provide outstanding administrative support to patients and co-workers and keep the focus on patient-centered care.



Primary Responsibilities include



Ensure efficient, professional, and organized operation of the clinic Greet patients, staff, and visitors to the clinic in a professional and courteous manner Initiate and organize patient files and assist patients through their schedule of appointments Handle all front desk duties with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times Third Party, MVA, WCB, AHS and Private billing and collection

The Successful Candidate will have the Following Requirements



Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Intermediate to advanced computer skills High school Diploma Current enrollment or graduation from a college diploma program in a related field is an asset Experience in a medical office or rehab environment an asset Experience working with medical billing systems: MedAccess and Jane an asset Alberta Health Care billing knowledge/experience an asset
