Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mixer to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients to produce high-quality baked goods and food products. Prior experience in the food industry, especially in baking or kitchen operations, is highly valued.

Duties

Measure, combine, and mix ingredients according to recipes and specifications Prepare batter and dough for cakes, pastries, and other baked goods Decorate cakes and desserts with precision and creativity, including cake decorating techniques Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety and sanitation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation Package finished products for sale or delivery while maintaining quality standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen team Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries related to baked goods and food items

Requirements

Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation is preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience working in a restaurant or food industry environment is a plus Strong skills in cooking, food handling, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with customers Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Basic packaging skills for product presentation and delivery preparation
