Overview:
We are recruiting for full-time Dough Mixers on the night shift. Starting wage begins at $19.14 per hour with progression rate.
Key Ingredients:
Lead the start-up and review of mixing schedules
Thoroughly conduct pre-operational inspections on mixers before commencing
Follow mixing procedures according to the formula sheet
Ensure all documentation is complete
Ensure all variances to the formula are reported to the Supervisor
Ensure to put all ingredients in the mixer following the formula
Check and document every dough temperature, time and initial
Monitor bulk scaling system for accuracy during the shift
Keep work area clean and tidy throughout shift and clean up after shift
Dump garbage when required
Work closely with Machine operator and Leadhand
Inform Leadhand of any quality issues immediately
Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
Recipe for Success:
Demonstrate agility and precision to align with the rapid production pace
Previous experience in the same role would be beneficial
Skilled in clear and impactful communication
Punctual and team player
You have strong people skills--you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
You're dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
Candidates must have strong English language communications skills (verbal and written), be able to lift awkward and heavy items and must provide an OSSD or equivalency (GED) when applying.
