We are seeking a bilingual (English/French preferred), part-time Administrative Assistant
to support our team in coordinating training sessions, conferences, and Board meetings.
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, half-day hours -- perfect for parents who
need to work around school drop-off and pick-up schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and coordinate logistics for training classes, conferences, and Board meetings
Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and documentation
Draft and distribute memos, newsletters, and other communications
Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally
Maintain organized filing systems and assist with general administrative duties
Provide support with basic accounts receivable/payable (an asset, not required)
Qualifications
Previous administrative or office experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting processes is an asset
Language Requirements
This position requires fluency in both English and French. The successful candidate must be
able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in both official languages.
Working Conditions
Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 4 hours/day (half days)
Salary range $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
3 wks paid holidays
Permanent office space is available at the head office in Fredericton. Flexibility for
Remote work with no funding for home office setup.
Occasional (very rarely) evening work for training sessions
Laptop, training equipment and regular office supplies
