part-time accountant

to support our growing operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in small business accounting.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage accounts payable and receivable Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records Assist in budgeting, cash flow analysis, and monthly reports Prepare documentation for audits and tax filings Collaborate with internal departments and external accountants Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations Support administrative and financial process improvements

Requirements:



Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field 3+ years experience in accounting (preferably in small/medium businesses) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent) Strong Microsoft Excel and document management skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Bilingual (English and French) is preferred Familiarity with the mining or industrial sector is an asset

Responsabilites principales :



Gerer les comptes fournisseurs et clients Effectuer les conciliations bancaires et tenir les dossiers financiers a jour Aider a la preparation des budgets, des analyses de tresorerie et des rapports mensuels Preparer la documentation pour les verifications et les declarations fiscales Collaborer avec les departements internes et les comptables externes S'assurer du respect des normes et reglementations comptables locales Contribuer a l'amelioration des processus administratifs et financiers

Exigences du poste :



Diplome ou formation en comptabilite, finance ou domaine connexe Minimum 3 ans d'experience en comptabilite (idealement en PME) Maitrise d'un logiciel comptable (ex. : QuickBooks, Sage ou equivalent) Competences avancees en Excel et en gestion documentaire Excellente rigueur et sens de l'organisation Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome avec peu de supervision Bilingue (francais et anglais) souhaite Connaissance du secteur minier ou industriel est un atout
