The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting financial reporting processes. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Data entry in payroll system such as ADP and review payroll.
Assist with preparation of year-end working papers and financial statements using CaseWare/Caseview
Prepare tax returns using CANTAX.
Generate management reports and support budgeting/forecasting processes.
Provide ad hoc financial and administrative support as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in
QuickBooks, CaseWare/Caseview, CANTAX T1 and T2, Excel, and Word
.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Administrative duties
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Work Arrangement:
On-site in Markham, ON.
2-3 days per week (schedule to be mutually agreed upon).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
