About Us:

Tec Vanlife is a Canadian company specializing in premium camper van conversion parts and adventure vehicle components. With operations in both Canada and the U.S., we design, manufacture, and distribute our own product lines to customers and builders across North America.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a

Contract Accountant

with strong full-cycle accounting experience to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting for multi-entity operations and experience in e-commerce or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounting, including A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close. Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities (Canada & U.S.). Prepare and file GST/HST, PST, and other statutory returns. Assist with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, and intercompany transactions. Collaborate with management on financial reporting and analysis. Support CRA compliance and year-end preparation with external accountants.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience. Proficiency with

QuickBooks Online

and Excel. Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards. Experience with cross-border or e-commerce operations is an asset. Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. CPA designation or enrollment is an asset but not required.

Contract Terms:

Flexible hours (10-20 hours/week, depending on workload). Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Potential for long-term engagement or transition to full-time role.
