Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesTo teach English 1005.03 (01), Literature: A Global Perspective, in the Winter term of the 2024-2025 academic year (Jan-April 2025). This course will be offered in an online format. The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, leading one tutorial group, supervision of teaching assistants, test preparation and evaluation, and grading the final exam. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionApplicants should possess a Ph.D. in English or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. Previous experience teaching at the university level is required. Experience teaching Global Literature and teaching in an online format is preferred.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
