Parts Person

at our

Alloy Collision Centre

! As an essential part of our operations, you will be responsible for assisting with the ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing automotive parts and materials. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to pursue their career in the automotive industry.

As the successful applicant you will have:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic knowledge of automotive parts, bodyshop experience considered an asset Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude. Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Basic computer skills (familiarity with parts inventory software is a plus). A valid driver's license.

In this exciting role, you will:

Assist in the receipt and inspection of incoming parts and materials, ensuring they match purchase orders and meet quality standards. Maintain an organized inventory system, ensuring parts are stored in a clean, accessible manner. Help with processing parts orders, including organizing parts for technicians and repair jobs. Perform regular stock checks and assist in managing stock levels to ensure the timely availability of parts. Provide support in identifying parts and accessories for customers and technicians based on job specifications. Keep track of parts returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in an efficient and accurate manner. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion. Provide exceptional customer service, both over the phone and in person, by assisting with parts inquiries and orders.
