Collision Centre Assistant Manager
to join our team and help keep operations running smoothly.
Position Overview:
The Collision Centre Assistant Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the front office operations of the shop. This position
reports directly to the General Manager
and works closely with our
Parts Manager and Repair Plan Team
to ensure a seamless workflow from customer drop-off to vehicle delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in the day-to-day functions of a busy auto body shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage front office operations and act as the first point of contact for customers
Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-ins with professionalism and courtesy
Schedule customer appointments and manage job flow between office and technicians
Coordinate with insurance companies and assist in processing claims and estimates
Prepare and send invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate financial records
Maintain inventory of office and shop supplies; place orders as needed
Keep detailed records of repairs, parts, and customer communications
Collaborate daily with the Parts Manager and Repair Plan Team to streamline repair processes
Support the General Manager with reporting, compliance, and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in an auto body shop environment
(required)
Proven experience in office administration or management
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic accounting tools
Familiarity with industry-specific software such as CCC ONE or Mitchell (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
