We're hiring a Paralegal or Law Clerk to join our boutique insurance defence firm in midtown Toronto. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and a supportive team environment where your contributions are valued. You'll be the primary support for one lawyer, combining file management with some administrative responsibilities.

About the Role



You'll work closely with one lawyer in a busy practice, managing files independently while being part of a team that's always ready to help. This role combines paralegal or law clerk responsibilities with some legal assistant duties, giving you the chance to take ownership of your work and contribute meaningfully.

What You'll Do



Manage insurance defence files from intake to trial Prepare and manage legal documents and correspondence Track deadlines and maintain organized files Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties Provide administrative support as needed

What We're Looking For



Experience as a Paralegal, Law Clerk, or Legal Assistant; Insurance defence experience is an asset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines and work independently A proactive, team-oriented mindset Familiarity with litigation procedures and document management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
