Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and painting techniques, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. The Painter will play a vital role in delivering high-quality results that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or power tools. Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces to restore their appearance and durability. Use rigging and scaffolding safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas. Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks. Execute commercial and industrial painting projects adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing materials and disposing of waste responsibly. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and address any concerns

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting is preferred. Familiarity with caulking techniques and surface preparation methods. Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a construction or restoration setting. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
