Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Cleaner specializing in apartment buildings!

We have 2 locations:

1 Apartment building is near Eglinton & Chaplin - May be 2 flexible shifts per week. 4.5 hours each shift for total of 9 hours

1 Apartment building is near Keele and Dundas - 1 shift per week, 3 hours per shift

Duties

Perform comprehensive cleaning of common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and exterior entrances of apartment buildings. Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums to maintain floors in excellent condition. Conduct janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing to uphold health standards. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within apartment complexes or similar environments. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale facilities maintenance. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team. Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Prior porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus, especially if it includes general upkeep tasks. Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 12 per week
