The Paint Line Offloader is responsible for safely and efficiently removing painted cabinet parts from the paint line or machine, inspecting for quality, and organizing parts for the next stage of production. This role is vital to ensuring high-quality finishes and timely workflow in the finishing department of a cabinet manufacturing facility.
Key Responsabilities:
Carefully remove cabinet components from the paint machine or automated paint line.
Visually inspect each piece for paint coverage, defects, or damage (e.g., drips, runs, uneven coating).
Place parts on drying racks or carts in an organized and efficient manner to prevent damage.
Maintain a steady flow of offloading to match production speed without causing bottlenecks.
Communicate any defects or quality issues to the paint line operator or supervisor immediately.
Assist in labeling or tagging components as needed for identification and tracking.
Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE and safe handling of painted materials.
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Assist with basic maintenance or cleaning of paint equipment if required.
Support other finishing or material handling tasks as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or finishing environment is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of quality standards and safety procedures.
Work Environment:
Exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and loud noise (PPE provided).
Must be comfortable working around machinery and moving parts.
Temperature can vary depending on production and season.
