Paint Line Team Lead

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paint Line Team Lead to oversee our paint application process and ensure the highest quality of our door and trim products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

Oversee daily operations of the paint line, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operators, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Monitor paint application processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.

Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify defects and implement corrective actions as needed.

Maintain accurate production records, including inventory tracking, quality metrics, and team performance.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and implement standards for paint application.

Train new team members on best practices and safety protocols.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee maintenance to minimize downtime.

Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to enhance skills and productivity.

Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate production needs and resolve any issues.

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in paint application or manufacturing preferred. 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of paint application process and equipment for wood products.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing priorities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
