About the Role

As Team Leader, you will have a unique opportunity to be part of Dundee Arms, an icon, located on Sussex Street and a piece of history since it's opening in 1860s. You will be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the day to day activities of the outlet, while supporting the Director of Food and Beverage with providing a courteous, professional and efficient service in accordance with the outlet, and hotel standards, driving sales and maximizing profit.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 3 years' experience within Hospitality preferably in a 5 star hotel Bar or Pub, in a similar leadership role.
You are an enthusiast with a positive attitude who loves working with people, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service. You are someone who is self-motivated, creative with excellent interpersonal and team working skills, and able to work autonomously.

Main Responsibilities

  • Brief staff on information regarding the daily operation
  • Assist in creating a work environment that facilitates staff motivation and builds morale
  • Assist with developing operational plans and reports by providing data and information on staffing, stock control, operational procedures etc.
  • Plan and implement an effective training program for all employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum of efficiency.

  • Ability to work a 7-day roster
